Surfulater maintains a log file which includes information about operational issues that may arise. It is of particular interest to us when diagnosing problems and we may request you send it to us.
The file is named SurfulaterLog.txt and is located in the following folder.
- For Windows XP this is the C:\Documents and Settings\ [User Account] \Application Data\SAIG\Surfulater\Logs folder.
- For Vista and Windows 7 it is Desktop\ [User Account] \AppData\Roaming\SAIG\Surfulater\Logs.
Note that [User Account] is the Windows account name you are currently logged in to.
If you can't see this folder in Windows Explorer, use Tools|Folder Options|View and turn on Hidden files and folders|Show hidden files and folders. In Windows 7 you may need to press the Alt key to show the Explorer Menu Bar with 'File, Edit, View, Tools..'.
